The 2016 Metro extension has made getting from Downtown to Santa Monica and wherever in the middle of significantly less demanding; city activity Car Free LA enables visitors to explore without wheels; and very nearly 50 new lodgings are in progress. This isn't only a shoreline town, either; it's a trade capital, where motion picture makers and back sorts blend over sashimi and kale plates of mixed greens. East Coasters are moving here in huge numbers for the daylight and a more maintainable way of life.
